The Lydian

I live at the Lydian, and I had a great experience with the previous property manager, Alex—he was truly awesome. When he moved on, I was honestly worried, but those concerns quickly disappeared. We now have an even greater property manager, Shehreen! Shehreen joined in January and has already made amazing changes and noticeable improvements. She truly goes above and beyond for her residents. When one of my work orders was overlooked, she personally took the time to speak with me, listened carefully, and immediately got to work making sure everything was handled properly. When Paul was the property manager, my experience with the building was honestly one of the worst I’ve had. Since Shehreen took over as the new property manager, things have improved tremendously. She is respectful, helpful, and genuinely listens to residents while doing her best to resolve any issues. I also want to recognize Skyler, who was a huge help with an issue I experienced during Paul’s time as manager. She is an awesome and very respectful young lady. I really appreciate the positive changes and the support from the current team.

The Lydian is a great building! Location is top-notch near bus/trains, and the amenities, especially gym/fitness are what I was looking for. Management is responsive and friendly -- always on the lookout for the residents' well-being and safety. My experience at The Lydian has been positive ever since my first tour with Djemina Balde.

I have 2 jobs here in the city, both less than 5 mins away. I expected my experience here to be smooth given the distance from work, and convince to the expressway. The property is modern don’t get me wrong, but the management here by far has the most least experienced, unprofessional representation. I’ve read more of the reviews, and I couldn’t agree less. Supposedly, they’re under new management, give or take. Nevertheless, I was insolently treated by the property manager, Shereen, and leasing agent, Skyler. Since I’ve been here, there has been burglaries, weed smells everywhere, and mad/aggressive management. The rent is too high to be unhappy, and unpleasant with staff. I’m honestly glad my time here is up, and I usually don’t leave reviews, but it was well deserved and potential res

Leasing & management extremely rude & unprofessional. I stayed here 3 months with paid for parking, parks were overbooked and not once did I have an assigned spot or accommodated. Parking spaces are terribly tight. Water does not get hot. Despite being a newer building, it’s not worth the inhospitality. Property is not the only selling point, management has a lot of inner core work to do. Overall experience 2/10. With the real estate carrying the points.
