Beautiful community that is so conveniently located. Competitive prices and AMAZING team! I walked right in the door and was immediately greeted by Abigail and Veronica. Micheleen took the time to say hi as well. Maintenance is on top of everything.

This property is poorly managed. One weekend, the elevator was literally falling and hanging, putting me and my dog in serious danger and it sat unrepaired until Monday! Management’s response? “It’s already been reported,” and they left it like that all weekend. Terrifying. The building is supposed to be secure, but my package was stolen from the mailroom, and staff claimed they couldn’t access the cameras. The gate constantly malfunctions, and children were running up and down the halls, banging on doors, forcing residents to install security cameras themselves. Cleanliness is a major problem hallways and elevators are consistently dirty despite repeated complaints. This complex has gone downhill, and Carter-Haston clearly does not prioritize resident safety or security. Save yourself

Pretty good so far - the apartment was a little dirty when we first moved in so that could be better. Water pressure could also be better for upper floor residents. However, everything else has been great for us. Cleanliness, staff, maintenance people (especially Ray!) - one of the good experiences I've had with the apartment complexes.

I came in for a tour and honestly wasn't sure what to expect, but Abigail made it so easy. She walked me through everything without rushing and actually listened to what I was looking for. It didn't feel salesy at all-just really helpful. The apartments looked even better in person than online!

When we first signed our lease at The Local Sugar Hill, everything was great—clean grounds, well-kept amenities, and a secure feel. Lately, though, things have gone downhill. Trash has been strewn across the property for nearly a week, and the front gate has been left open, leading to trespassers in the pool area. It’s created real safety concerns, and it’s disappointing to see the lack of response from management.
