The Legends at La Paloma

I lived at the Legends at La Paloma for six years, and the customer service from the office staff was absolutely outstanding. They made me feel comfortable and happy throughout my entire stay. I highly recommend living here for anyone looking for a great community and excellent support from the management team! A special shout out to Sarai who went above and beyond the call of duty, I can't thank her enough for all she did to make me feel appreciated as a resident.

I had the exact same problem as Theresa with the vacate notice. I was then forced to move out earlier than I thought because they had already rented out my apartment to someone else. I showed a friend who works in property management the email chain and they agreed that what they wrote was misleading/potential malpractice. I almost had to pay to have my stuff put in storage for weeks but thankfully my new complex was able to accommodate me moving in early. Also, multiple recent 5 star reviews are literally written by the staff (some didn't even bother to use a different account, using their full real names) LOL how pathetic.

Staff “missed” my vacate notice, and did not honor it even though I had sent it in with appropriate notice, and did not take accountability or make any accommodations. I had to move out earlier than I needed because the already signed someone to move in. Manager is not generous, not workable and again admitted to no fault, offering that I could move out slightly earlier but not the original date that I had asked for, but since they didn’t do their job and process the paperwork, it was consequence to me. I asked multiple times for any sort of compensation as I had to change my plans completely, and thankfully I could, but shouldn’t have had to. It’s a boring complex with a weird manager. He has four assistants, they do simple things and the full authorities with him. He promises to do things and breaks most of them. Almost every month they have a problem in the complex, including water leak, plumbing, electrical issues…. Then we carry the side effects of that. Their maintenance is poor and slaw. They always repair things in any way and don’t replace because the manager doesn’t like to spend money. One month ago, the sewage water reflected to our bathrooms and we got flooding in the toilet and water tub. They came after a while and stayed for hours to solve the problem. I’ve been living here for 5 years now, and even if I moved 3 times , I did it inside the facility because I love it here. Chris goes out and beyond to help if you need something , Sarah with her warm and genuine smile helps make things happen too ( broken things in the apartments or questions), and Don Ramon never gives up with his repairs.:) I feel at home here, for the first time in a lo g time….
