The Landings at Northgate Apartments

I have been living in this apartment for the past four years and have had a very positive experience. The staff is consistently helpful, and maintenance requests are handled promptly. While there have been minor issues occasionally, nothing significant. Overall, it’s a great place to live, and the convenient location with everything nearby makes it even better.

⭐ Extremely Negative Review – My Personal Experience Title: Terrible place to live – nonstop issues and zero management support Review: I’m writing about my personal experience living at 3701 N O’Connor Rd, Irving, TX 75062, and it has been nothing but problems from day one. • The A/C is always broken in the summer, making the apartment unbearably hot. Maintenance requests take forever, and nothing gets fixed properly. • The pool is always dirty and looks completely unmaintained. • There are cockroaches inside the apartment, no matter how much you clean. It’s extremely uncomfortable and unacceptable. • There is water leakage inside the apartment, and even after reporting it, nothing was resolved. • The water bill is extremely high every month without any clear explanation, much higher

I’ve lived here for the last 6 1/2 years. The best thing about these apartments is the maintenance! David, the head of maintenance is the absolute best at what he does. The maintenance team responds very quickly to work orders. I’ve never waited longer than 12hrs for a request to be completed. They truly make these apartments worth living. Office management has changed several times over the years but the maintenance team and leadership has stayed the most consistent and effective. Close to the airport and highway access. Complex has kinda went downhill

At approximately 10:57 a.m., I visited the office to inquire about available apartments. I was provided with information regarding current availability; however, due to the drizzling, the leasing agent declined to show me a unit. The agent was the woman seated in the third chair when walking into the office. I was also informed that there are no A2 units available—only A1 units. I was genuinely interested in viewing the property and moving forward with leasing, but this experience was a major turnoff. If there is reluctance to assist with something as basic as showing a unit, it raises concerns about how issues would be handled after move-in. As a result, I’ve decided to pass and hope the leasing staff receives additional training in customer service.

I wish there was a negative 10 rating for me to give this property. I'm not the kind of person to leave a negative reviews but this people have frustrated my family and I so much that words can't describe. The last five(5) in this complex have been nothing but HELL. The maintaining team is rated 00/1000. Where do I start? My kitchen locker that got broken on January 21st, 2024 is yet to be fixed. My dishwasher hasn't worked for the past 15 months, my stove is faulty,( when I complained, they offered a YELLOW stove which i declined,it's been over 9 months of torture), MOLD in the bathrooms , wornout floor carpet.... the list is long.
