The Lakeside at 2315

I am not one to leave reviews, let alone bad ones but this complex takes the cake. To begin, I moved from across the country to arrive at a older complex with dumped furniture, empty beer bottles, used needles and other trash littered outside the building. I have to use two different keys to get into the apartment itself and on the second night here I heard shots from a firearm go off in the building next to me. This is not a safe neighborhood for a young woman to be living in an apartment alone. The inside of the apartment was littered with dead cockroaches and beyond dirty. The layout looks nothing like the pictures online. I brought this up to the leasing office when breaking the lease and they danced around it by saying that people come once a week for trash and pest control as well as

The absolute worst place you could stay in your entire life. Upon moving there, there were roaches already infested in the apartment the AC broke multiple times and it took months to get somebody out to fix it. There were leaks in the ceiling, causing rusty water to leak onto our bed that we had to fix ourselves because after multiple order request, they never came to fix it. Upon moving out, we let them know in advance when we were moving out and spoke on the phone multiple times with multiple people that worked there saying that they would only charge us for the few days that we were staying there. I moved here in November 2023, the apartment was covered in a thick layer of paint, after a couples of days living here the smell of weed, and cigarette started coming out. After 3 months they finally cleaned the front of my apartment that was sooo dirty. I got charged extra money the first and the second month, they finally sent me a receipt with the credit, and when I go to the app to pay, not only they did no apply the credit, they over charge 10 times the same mistake, and there is no way to pay the correct amount. I am stuck here for a year.............

Not the worst place to live but not the best. They claim the units are remodeled but they arent-- they just throw a thick layer of paint over everything after an apartment is vacated. There are roaches (the bad kind-- german ones). They also sent me a threatening email about paying my past due balance on my rent when my rent is paid in full. Threatened legal action too. When I tried to email the listed email asking what theyre even talking about the email is invalid. I've never paid late before, not even once. Don't bother putting in maintenance request because they either wont come or theyll ignore your request for timeframes and then wont handle the issue. They also don't care about resident safety.
