The Grove at Ames

Jena, the leasing manager, was so great to work with!! My daughter had to transfer two lease terms (one from Jan to July and one from Aug to Aug) and Jena was a huge help!! Even though I called a million times and asked a million questions, she sweetly answered my calls and all my questions!! She totally explained the process so I could communicate the process to my potential lessees! And, when I found individuals to take over the lease she was quick to get them approved, get the lease signed, and communicate with me to let me know the process was complete!! The Grove at Ames is a great choice for any ISU students looking for spacious floorplans within walking distance to campus. The staff is super friendly and maintenance is quick to respond to any requests. My favorite part about the community is the clubhouse library and pool deck, both great for hanging out and studying.

Nice apartments, the amenities are nice and its really nice having in unit laundry, I just wished our dryer worked though. Staff is really friendly and the maintenance people are quick. The walls are a little thin so your likely to hear your neighbors but the community is great so its no where near a level of noise to be a bother. It is a convenient location from both Jack Trice and campus. The model unit is a lot different from what your rooms are likely to look like and thats to be expected but for one roommate their closet and bathroom will be wayy smaller then the others. Just something to consider! Also limited pantry space so consider bringing shelves.

I have lived here for almost 2 years now and couldn’t recommend this apartment more! The units are very spacious with each room having its own walk-in closet and bathroom. Not only are the units nice, but so are the amenities and the clubhouse. The amenities include a pool in the summer, grills, a fire pit and a basketball court. The clubhouse is one of my favorite aspects because of the events hosted there and the free coffee with the coffee machine. It’s one of my favorite study spots for sure :)

The Grove has been really great to my roommate's and I. Whenever we have a maintenance request they’re always always on it and they always solve the problem fully. The only thing I would say is I’ve had several encounters where the front desk people were rude. Theres a handful of people who are really nice but a select few who are always rude. For the past couple months it’s been fine, just something I and my roommates have noticed. Other than that, love the Grove!
