If I could give zero stars I would. Picture this… you’re a college student that goes to visit their friend for a Saturday night movie night. When you go to leave, your trucks (yes plural) are missing. Apex towing has a contract to ride thru and tow vehicles without a parking decal. There are no signs that say which areas are for guest and which are for residents. The vehicles were parked in a parking space in front of the office where there are no signs to indicate parking in such spots would result in towing ($300 per vehicle) but rather state future resident parking . I drove from Pascagoula MS (4 hours) to pay to get their vehicles back on Sunday. I went into the office and asked the desk worker to speak to a manager and explained the situation. I had a great experience at The Grand in Starkville! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming, clean, and well-kept. The staff was friendly, professional, and made sure everything ran smoothly. I really appreciated how attentive and helpful everyone was — it made the whole experience feel comfortable and enjoyable. The location is convenient and the overall vibe is nice whether you’re just stopping by or spending more time there. Everything was organized and well managed, which made a big difference. I would definitely recommend The Grand to anyone in Starkville looking for a quality place with great service. I’ll be back again for sure!

Extremely Disappointing Experience. I was charged for something that staff failed to properly inspect. When I spoke with the leasing manager and requested a copy of the inspection report for my unit, she was unable to provide any documentation, yet the charge remains on my account. I also reached out to the property manager by email and have not received any response.When I first moved in, I went an entire month without hot water. In addition, the property grounds were often littered with trash and dog waste. After that initial issue, I chose to renew my lease in hopes things would improve — unfortunately, that turned out to be a mistake. ⚠️ Future tenants, please read this before signing a lease. This is my second year living at The Grand because I wanted to give it a chance, but I absolutely regret it and am just waiting for my lease to end. Before moving in, I saw the negative reviews but hoped things had improved since management responds to them. The pictures looked fine, and the price seemed decent, so I gave it a chance. Big mistake. A few months in, I found out my rent would go up almost $100 unless I renewed immediately. It feels like they purposely pressure you into signing before you even know if you like living here. They don’t value loyal tenants at all. There’s also a yearly amenity fee, but this year they tried to charge me twice. I know multiple tenants who had the same problem, and we were all told diffe

Before my daughter moved in we read reviews about getting nickeled and dimed at this facility. Have to say they have very shady billing practices and zero ethics. Buyer/renter beware.
