Brownsville Station Apartments and Houses

I cannot say enough about the outstanding management at Brownsville Station, led by Leslie Fortenberry. She is attentive, caring, and always quick to respond to residents’ needs—no matter the time or situation. Leslie runs a dedicated team of professionals who consistently go above and beyond to make sure the community is well cared for. The atmosphere here reflects her leadership: safe, welcoming, and truly supportive. It’s rare to find a complex where management treats residents like family, but that’s exactly what you’ll experience at Brownsville Station. I highly recommend this apartment complex—it’s without question one of the best places to live in Starkville.

1. Extremely poor sound insulation. The sound insulation effect of the apartment is very poor. I can clearly hear the neighbor's conversation, the sound of bathing, the sound of washing machine and the barking of the neighbor's dog at home. And because the air conditioning compressor is close to the bedroom window, whenever it runs, the buzzing noise makes me unable to sleep all night, so that my mental state during the day is very bad. 2. There are many bugs in the community. As a drainage ditch runs through the whole community, the whole community is full of all kinds of insects, such as wasps, mosquitoes, cockroaches, geckos, etc. Wasps build nests under my eaves and even fly into my home. This summer, I was stung by a fierce wasp. 3. Old decoration. The interior decoration is very old,

Rented a house with them and they were absolutely amazing! Lawn care taken care of and any fixes I needed were made the same day! I highly recommend them to anyone!

I lived at Brownsville Station Apartments previously for 4 years. I only left due to moving off for 4 years. When I returned to Starkville the first place I called was Brownsville Station. I have now been here for 2 years. I absolutely love this place. I feel safe, my apartment is well maintained and I feel like this is home. I highly recommend this apartment complex. Maintenance fixes problems that are CALLED IN/REPORTED. It is not only for students and Grad students, but it is great for a small family of 3.

Our son lived here for 2 years and it was a great experience! Management was absolutely wonderful and maintenance always came in a timely manner when needed. The price for rent was very reasonable compared to others. We are so grateful for this place and would highly recommend living here.
