The Gallery on Wells

I don’t even know where to begin! Our four years at Gallery on Wells have been truly exceptional. We recently made a pros and cons list when deciding to move out of the Gallery -- we came up with hundreds of pros of the Gallery and only a few cons. But ultimately, it’s simply our time to move on. The front desk staff and maintenance crews have been consistently friendly and welcoming with little turnover during our stay. Our one-bedroom layout was spacious with incredible views, and the entire property — amenities, common areas, indoors and out — is impeccably maintained and cleaned daily. Great apartment in a phenomenal location. The views are stunning incredible. What I especially appreciated was the honesty of the leasing office who didn’t over-sell or push units that didn’t meet my specific needs. They also helped me sort logistics. Trudy (who gets slated a bit on reviews) is far from difficult and is very accommodating to asks within reason. I have had nothing but pleasant encounters. I’m looking forward to the summer and enjoying the pool.

I loved my time living at The Gallery on Wells! I lived there for 2 years in a 1 bedroom apartment and the layout of the unit was perfect. The Management staff and the Concierge door staff are incredibly helpful and kind. The location is great - near the best restaurants, coffee shops, and stores. I used the gym and sauna everyday and was at the pool most weekends in the summer! I also really appreciated the resident events the management staff hosted every month. Would’ve stayed longer if I wasn’t moving in with my fiancé! Highly recommend living at The Gallery.

The Gallery was an excellent choice, we assessed so many different apartment buildings and found this to be the best option, which proved to be right. First of all the views are amazing. The amenities are fantastic, the staff are great, and the residents are so nice. We loved our time here and never would have left if not for a work obligation in another city. Highly recommend to all!

We are extremely disappointed with how our experience was handled at The Gallery on Wells. Two weeks ago, my 18-year-old daughter applied for an apartment after we personally visited the property and walked the neighborhood. She received confirmation that her application was moving forward, and based on that communication, she booked her flight to Chicago believing the process had been completed. After arriving in Chicago, she was informed that additional verification was required. She completed everything immediately, and I completed my portion as her co-signer as well. Because the management team had not finalized the process on their end, she was forced to book an Airbnb while waiting for confirmation.
