The Essex

I’m a new tenant at Essex and I must say that the staff at the front were very helpful and making this move and the transition into the new apartment comfortable and fast. I like to say that Lisa and liberty did everything they needed to do to me to ensure that my process would be small. I would recommend this place to anyone. It’s a beautiful complex. Has two swimming pools, a fitness center and the rent is very reasonable.

I had so many issues including a broken dishwasher for 6 months at the start of my lease, broken air conditioner that took 5 days to fix and 4 leaks that were not even from our apartment in the 2 years we lived there! We moved out back in September and we still haven’t even gotten our security deposit back or any info on it so I did my own research and they use The Guarantors which is a 3rd party company that takes your deposit and you don’t even get it back. So you pay what feels like a deposit but you get none of it. just a lot of unprofessional office workers and they truly have no sense of urgency when fixing things. It was an okay apartment but they really could have tried harder.

Made an appointment to tour the premises. No one showed up, leasing office closed, and number provided not in service. Left work early for nothing. If that's the way business is handled there, I'm definitely not interested.

I want to give a big shout-out to Ms. Cynthia Lopez, who has been phenomenal throughout my move to The Essex. Initially, I was skeptical about relocating here due to some reviews from previous residents. However, speaking with Ms. Lopez and experiencing her professionalism and trustworthiness over the phone immediately eased my concerns. It’s been a month since I moved in, and I have nothing but positive things to say about the management team. While there have been a few minor issues with my unit, every maintenance request I submitted was addressed promptly, relieving any concerns I had. Ms. Lopez has consistently gone above and beyond to accommodate both me and my mother, ensuring our transition was smooth and stress-free. I use to really dislike living here but I will say with the new owners it has been better. They cleaned up little by little in all aspects. I finally had a chance to meet them and had a real talk it was amazing. They are super nice listened to all my concerns and gave me solutions. Thanks girls 😊
