The Eli Winter Springs Apartments

I’m visiting my aunt and stopped by her apartment gym to get a quick workout in, and honestly it was a complete mess. Nobody reracks their equipment. Plates and dumbbells are left wherever the last person dropped them. It takes 30 seconds to put weights back, and the fact that people cannot be bothered says a lot. On top of that, the place feels like a sauna. Poor ventilation, stuffy air, and it literally smells like cheese. It is uncomfortable before you even start your workout. What really bothers me is the lack of basic etiquette. This is an apartment gym. Imagine someone’s elderly parent trying to stay active and healthy and they end up straining themselves because they have to clear off weights someone else was too lazy to put away. Less than 2 weeks before I was supposed to move into another complex my roommates and I got told it wouldn’t be available anymore. Because of that stressful situation I found The Eli and I’m so happy that I did. That same day I was able to walk into the leasing office and speak to Cristina about their property. She was very friendly and informative about all they have to offer and options for me. I was lucky enough to find a 2 bed 2 bath unit that had a move in date that worked perfect for me! I have now lived at The Eli for one month and it has been great. I have not gotten to try out the pool or gym yet but always love to show it off when friends come over since it’s so nice. I've been living here for 7 months, and I decided to renew my lease. I wasn’t very impressed at the beginning, but I have to say it has improved a lot, especially the gym. I feel it's worth all the extra charges we pay monthly. Also, in the last couple of months, I’ve finally felt that someone in the management team has been helpful, understanding, and reliable with me. Shout out to Nicole!

I stayed here for three years and recently moved out. I wouldn’t say they are terrible but the price is definitely not worth it. The surrounding area is really nice and the gym is huge. The apartments are spacious with a lot of storage space. However, the roach and ant problems are ridiculous! Multiple people I talked to at the gym had the same issue - plus roof leaks, lots of mold, you name it! The hallways were always dirty and the back gate was also broke. Christina, previous office manager, was a sweetheart. She was also helpful!

I have only included my work number on the information forms for apartments. I have never had a scammer call me at work, but a month after moving here I had a scammer call me at work. I suspect that this complex sold my information to a third-party… the appliances here are also very cheap and don’t do a good job washing clothes or dishes. The caulking for the bathtub is coming off, the bathtub is uneven, millipedes and ants are every where. The maintenance is also very half-assed here. They painted over hair, baseboards are lifted, the counters are made of wood. Really not worth it to live here. Don’t think I’m going to renew my lease and I don’t recommend moving here.
