The Edge at Matawan

I’ve been staying here for the last month with my cousin while my home is being renovated from a fire. During my stay I’ve heard the staff refer to this as “luxury” apartments, I disagree. Hallways that have not been cleaned or vacuumed in over a week, trash room with garbage piled high and spewed across the floor, sub-code water pressure, unhygienic weight room, is this their definition of luxury for $3k+ per month? The majority of the staff are always friendly, I’ll give them that.

Beautiful well maintained building . The gym area is extremely clean and never a wait to use there equipment (residents & guests of resident only , not open to the public) . Walking distance to a few essential businesses.

As a newer resident of only 7 months I can say that my experience has been completely positive. I thought of staying only one year however now I think I may have found my home for the foreseeable future. The staff of Janine, Alicia, Busra and Mike have all been great. Attentive to any needs and always friendly. It’s very clean and the amenities are very nice. It is also a great central location that is within walking distance to many places. 5 ⭐️’s all day everyday!

Alex here - 3+ year resident and just wanted to say how well the staff at this establishment form a trust and genuine concern for their residents in all they do - truly caring every step of the way. Especially Janine who managed to find me an apartment at the drop of a hat. I managed 10mill+ stores for over 9 years with Abercrombie and she is a true management asset to have on your team there, the talent and personability she has speaks for itself. Thank you all!

My boyfriend and I live here and we love it! Everyone is super nice and the concierge is spot on. Janine was extremely helpful in getting us set up initially and we extended our lease for another year cause we didn’t want to leave. Sad to see any negative reviews on here. The location is ample and you’re right next to a parkway entrance. The staff is all nice and it’s a safe building which is nestled right in the middle of so many different places in Jersey; it’s truly a hub and great if you travel a lot for work. You’re also right down the street from a train station.
