Marc Hampton Apartment

2/26 Update: the Property Manager sent a mass email to residents saying that if you pay your rent after the 4th of the month you will be charged $825 for eviction filing and attorney fee. Insane. Also, the dumpsters are constantly full to overflowing. I do not recommend anyone rent from Pentaurus. Marc Hampton Apartment was sold to Two Rivers at Matawan, which is owned by Pentaurus. So far every change they've made has been negative. Tenants now have to pay an annual parking fee, as well as pay a fee every month just to PAY OUR RENT. I would not recommend anyone live here with the new owners.

I have lived here for three years now, and am unfortunately terminating my lease this October. If you’re looking for something affordable, definitely check out Marc Hampton. Unfortunately they do not have accommodations for pets, nor do they have a playground, so I wouldn’t necessarily recommend if you’re looking for your family, but if you’re looking for a start, definitely look into here. The property is upkept, and the property manager removes excess furniture from the dumpsters to keep the area semi presentable (it’s a dumpster how pretty can it really be). The only issue I have is the pool that hasn’t and won’t be reopened, the lack of outdoor activities, and the lack of roadwork inside the apartment parking areas. They are discriminate against people who’ve been there years over people who’ve been there for a shorter amount of time, they favor the older renters and think the younger generations don’t know anything, they try to get money out of you so make sure you read the laws before giving them ANYTHING. Pam Moore in the office claims she’s the “landlord” yet she writes on lease papers and other documents that she’s a “verified agent” I would love to know who the actual landlord or property manager is but I will never know. Don’t believe a word that these people tell you and if you don’t want to live with the hassle move somewhere else I’m happy I only rented for a year but want to leave already and I only been here for 4 months.

They need to Renovate and take care of the lil friends they have staying in the apartments I hope they do better and I think they’re trying but something for the kids would be nice playground something and management and. Maintenance could be better

It’s nice place to get rent .there and nice people and the people in the office they very friendly.and when i ask them about the security deposit because a had like four months i not working and i going to moving to another state .. i get the security deposit before i go out the apartment .......thank you
