The Crossing Apartments

If I could give this place no stars I would! Have lived here since October 2024. Have had issues with my central air and heat since moving in. A/C went out completely in April. The office put in two window units stating that untill they have a price they like my central air will not be replaced. I will have to deal with two small window units in a three bedroom upstairs apartment!!! They want rent on time but will not fix anything nor take care of any issues! Not sure how income based can get away with not supplying correct heating and air for the tenant's???Update as of June 2025 still no central air in my apartment. The lady in the office is rude and seems to have a issue with my race. Every conversation with this lady is out of line guess cause I'm white?

Property conditions continue to decline. Discarded furniture in breezways, uneven and unsafe sidewalks for the elderly, trash, cigarettes, and discarded food on walk ways, sheets hanging in windows. Staff turnover is also an issue with poor service and complaints not being taken seriously. I am a previous resident and when I resided in these apartments years ago we had mandatory apartment inspections and I was literally made to replace a bent blind. Now my mother still resides in these apartments and I have photos with time stamps showing the consistent decline. I am so disappointed as this is one of the few income based apartments in the area and unfortunately the tenants that do care about their surroundings are stuck. I moved in last year. I have a great neighborhood.my neighbors are peaceful.the apartments are large with a lot of storage space. Anytime I've ever ask anything the management is quick to respond.they put in a lock for me so that my toddler couldnt sneak out.they fixed a rough area that in the kitchen any of my requests it's been done professionally and quickly. I am really grateful to live here it's a great place to live and the staff are really helpful.

When we got to the property we were told that Joe was out with illness and that the property wasn’t going to be ready for viewing anytime soon. The lady kept talking about their low income property as if we couldn’t afford the non low income side. We been living in a non low income house for 3 years paying $1200 a month. I felt she didn’t wanna help us and was just trying to get us out of the office. We didn’t get a proper introduction. She went right into talking about low income. I felt it was because of my race.
