The Creeks of Hammond

This might be super long but i promise it will be helpful if you read all the way through, LOL. I lived at the creeks for 7 years (2017-2024). The first 3 years my only complaint was management (Which the changed in about 2020 i believe) . The last 4 years, 9.9/10. I LOVED the creeks. I moved to Covington and I miss the creeks + the staff every single day. There is no other place like the creeks. Kristie is an amazing property manager, very kind, caring, thoughtful, and by far the BEST property manager that place has seen, Megan is TOP TIER leasing agent. Super sweet, super kind, very helpful. Mr. Leon and India, the maintenance staff, will forever hold a special place in my heart. NEVER did i EVER go without in that complex. I would give The Creeks a 4.5 out of 5 stars. I’ve lived here with my husband and children for the past 3 years, and we’ve never had any major issues. Being that Hammond is a college town, you will have a lot of college students surrounding you, which isn’t always bad, however, Thursdays-Sundays are pretty loud. The walls are paper thin & you will always hear exactly where your upstairs neighbors are in their apartment. Other than the thin walls and noisy neighbors, The Creeks have improved tremendously from when we first moved in. Maintenance & pest control are my FAVORITE staff members. Megan (leasing professional) is VERY helpful and understanding. I will definitely miss being a resident here & honestly would stay longer if it were closer to my current endeavors.

Okay, I just accidentally gave a 5 star review to the Creeks Apartments…. What I meant to do was give 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ to India Cyprian, who works for the apts. She never stops AMAZING! We say we need something taken care of in our apartment, SHE IS THERE PRONTO. FAST & EFFICIENT! (Nice too) FIVE STARS INDIA⭐️

If you are a responsible individual who can follow rules this place is paradise. Great price for rent in a safe area and plenty of space in the apartments. Great distance from the university and a couple of nearby restaurants. I've been here for almost 2 years and have never had a problem with management or maintenence. Police have only been here twice due to a loud party after 11:30 pm and someone inviting a large group of friends to swim in the pool after pool hours had ended.

Would not recommend. Look else where. Apartment manager (land lady?) is the worst. Anecdotally, everyone who's lived here and actually interacted with her agrees with me. Pool is basically useless unless you like swimming by yourself or roommates as they’ll storm out of the office building and demand to know your social security numbers (this actually happened) if there’s more than 2 people. Random maintenance workers will also be coming and going frequently in your apartment, which is super annoying if you work late nights and keep getting woken up by them to let them in (or she'll just let them in while your sleeping, which is even better to wake up to- strangers in my home). Also have had A/C unit go out in the middle of the summer multiple times now (6+) in the 2 different apartments
