The Cove at Avon Lake

The maintenance guys are always very nice and professional. The only concern I have is that sometimes the replacement items don’t match the existing fixtures or finishes in the apartment. I understand materials may vary or discontinued. I think then everything should be replaced to match. This is supposed to feel like our home.

This apartment complex is very safe and kept clean and up-to-date. Everything was great until it was time to transfer from a 1 bedroom to a 2 bedroom in the same building. I was told I would get the keys on Friday and return them on Monday. I was not warned, in writing or otherwise, that I would be charged rent on both places for those days. When I asked to be credited the amount for either apartment, I was threatened with a $750 transfer fee that was initially waived "out of kindness" (and that I had also never heard of, in writing or otherwise). That fee should have no bearing on the fact that I was charged for two places in the current economy. Had I known this, I would not have transferred at all. My request to escalate this issue was also denied. Very disappointing!

Michelle was so kind and helpful during our search! We love our apartment for the most part. The walls are thin so if you have kids your downstairs neighbor might bang on the ceiling daily while they play. That is the only reason for the 4 stars, otherwise the grounds are well kept and everyone else is very kind!

I’ve been at the Cove now for about 9 months and have enjoyed living here. All of my neighbors are very nice. Any time there’s an issue the maintenance crew are always on top of getting things done. The apartments are top notch. The biggest perk of living here is I’m allowed to have my beloved dog with me. Thank you The Cove at Avon Lake!

The entire staff here is absolutely amazing. McKenzie is awesome and so is Michelle. The maintenance staff is fantastic and very responsive. I highly recommend living here
