The Connection at Athens

I’ve lived here for the past two years and just renewed for another year. I always recommend that people live here. The apartments are nice and the amenities are great. If you’re a UGA student, there are two shuttles that take you to campus which are really convenient with the limited on-campus parking. The clubhouse and pool are always great and there’s a coffee machine in the clubhouse that’s free use. Definitely recommend!

Honestly there are a lot of hit or miss reviews for this apartment complex but me personally I have never had a problem. My apartment came perfectly fine and we have such a great location. The room sizes are great, you are so close to target/walmart, many food options near by, decent pricing, fully furnished, and there is a buss that takes you to class and dt (sometimes that is a bit eh but it’s better than nothing). If you don’t have a reserved parking spot most of the time you have no issues and can easily find parking nearby too. Even the maintenance requests get done very quick like within a few hours or a day. Overall 5/5 for me

The Connections is a great place to live if you want space, privacy, and great amenities. Parking is easy, maintenance responds in a reasonable time, and the area feels calm compared to busier student complexes. The shuttle to campus is convenient, and the amenities are good without feeling overcrowded. It’s a good fit if you want a more relaxed, off-campus vibe.

I enjoy living here. The amenities are amazing, I enjoy that the gym is 24/7 and that we have 3 pool. Honestly the best place to live at in Athens. We also have our own private shuttle that takes us to class but also downtown on Friday and Saturday. Finally, the people who work at the office are so kind!! They are always trying to throw community activities.

The Connection has great amenities and a convenient location. It is a few minutes from Publix, Aldi, Target, etc (making it very nice option for students without cars) and there are two shuttles to take you back and forth between campus 7 am-6 pm on weekdays, as well as downtown shuttle and game day shuttles later in the night on weekends. New management has significantly improved the property and made many positive changes such as refreshing areas like gym, pool and clubhouse. The new maintenance staff is excellent! It is generally very quiet in and around the complex. Parking is decent - with free and paid parking options. All units come furnished.
