The Chase at Overlook Ridge

My wife and I moved to The Chase at Overlook Ridge in October 2025 and it has honestly felt like a breath of fresh air compared to our previous community. The biggest difference for us has been the amount of space. Our one bedroom apartment here feels much larger and more comfortable than the one we had before which has made a huge difference in day to day living. Another thing we really appreciate is how responsive the staff is. Maintenance requests are always handled quickly and the office team responds in a timely way whenever we have questions or need assistance. It makes the whole experience feel well managed and professional. The amenities are also a big upgrade. I've had a great experience living in this apartment building. The property is well-maintained, clean, and managed professionally. Maintenance requests are handled quickly and efficiently, which makes a big difference in day to day comfort. The common areas always tidy, and it's clear that management takes pride in keeping the building in excellent condition. The neighbors are friendly and respectful, creating a welcoming and peaceful environment. The location is convenient, with easy access to shops, restaurants, and public transportation, which makes daily life much easier. We are having a terrible experience with these people, continued rat rodents with no solution for it, they are inside the apartment, and what did they do for it, opens tickets, come and put boxes and then closing tickets without following up. Not only that, they literally don’t care about it, nobody cares or apologizes or shows empathy, they only care about payments and rents, but residents safety and health, not a chance. This is the fourth time we catching rats, and we no longer feel safe at this apartment, but they don’t care. The AC unit was down for more than 3 months, and whenever you follow up and open a ticket for it, they close it without fixing the problem. Probably the WORSE community to live in on the north shore. Utilities are always sky rocketing and even when you are gone from the unit weeks at a time the usage is still high which makes no sense. The power in the unit constantly goes out. Dogs urinate and poop in the hallways and all over the sidewalks/garages. Packages are always stolen. This is not a safe place to raise children. Cars get broken into and the cameras do not work. Do not move here!!

Despite what some of the responses from the AIR management bots say below, the on site management here does not care or do anything about noise complaints. I know this because I have made several about my upstairs neighbors and management has never had the decency to even respond to my complaints, and the noise has not improved. If you have to live here, make sure you know exactly where your apartment is (avoid doorways and elevator spaces) and invest in noise cancelling headphones or earplugs. Most of the residents do not make any effort to be quiet. They also either don't know how to use the trash rooms or don't care, and management can't enforce it, so mice are frequently in there.
