The Carlisle

First let’s start with the lofts. They are amazing!!! I thought I would have to go to Atlanta to find a place like this.When I did a tour of the lofts with Monica she was very sweet and helpful. She answered all questions that I had and made me feel like this was my home before I made it my home. Best decision that I made. I’m excited to see the Carlisle when everything is completed and the fact that I am here to witness and be a part of it is awesome

The lofts are beautiful, the neighborhood is quiet. Dog friendly facility and friendly staff. A gem hidden in Griffin. The cameras on gated parking lot, doors and hallways gives a secure home feel.

The property is beautiful and was super excited about calling this place home. Monica had been responsive for months prior to my visit. She was patient and kind and allowed me to tour several units. This review is not a reflection of her but the application process. I had a bankruptcy discharged 9 years ago. I make well over 3times the rent. I have excellent, current renters history with a Pegasus community in the area. Even added a co-signer: with well over the income and excellent renters history a life event from 9 years ago hindered my opportunity. Additionally, no fees were refunded. Why would I be responsible for an admin fee which was communicated as activation of fobs etc for a property I don’t live on? Out of almost 600 in fees for a denial can’t help but to feel like a scam.

My partner and I had a very off-putting experience during our tour. While the property itself is nice, the interaction with the front desk lady, (Monica) completely overshadowed it. We were asked for our licenses, followed by a question directed at my partner that felt very out of line, it was hard not to feel that this question was asked because of my partner’s race, which made the situation extremely uncomfortable. During the apartment tour, we politely asked for a moment alone to look around by our selves and that request was ignored. Overall, the lack of professionalism left a very bad taste in our mouths. Unfortunately, no matter how nice the property is, the experience made us certain this would not be the right place for us.

I stopped by this office hoping to find a place to live, as I recently moved to Griffin for work and am looking for a one-bedroom apartment. When I walked in, there was only one staff member present, Monica (manager). Unfortunately, she was on her cell phone discussing her cinnamon bun DoorDash order and never paused to greet me properly or find out how she could assist. Rather than offering any information or asking what I needed, she simply handed me a business card (while still on the phone) and told me to visit the website. It felt as though her phone conversation and lunch plans were a higher priority than helping a potential new resident. As a single professional new to the area, finding a place to settle in is a huge priority. I was hopeful that this place would work out conside
