The Capstone at Port Imperial

The best apartment I’ve ever lived in! The staff is super friendly, and the community is wonderfully welcoming. The apartment itself is incredibly new and updated, and the price is very reasonable. But what touched me the most was the move-out process. Honestly, my place wasn't very clean when I left—there was quite a bit of grease on the stove, some dirt on the windowsills from my potted plants, and even a few food splatters on the walls. Any other apartment complex would have hit me with a massive cleaning fee, but they only charged me a very little! They are incredibly fair and honest, and I was so amazed and grateful. If Google let me give 10 stars, I absolutely would! Highly recommend!

My husband and I were on the fence about moving to NJ from NYC but eventually, the value of the space we get at the capstone and our amazing leasing agent, Evy, got us over the hump. It’s been a great experience so far, with friendly neighbors (a fellow boy mom offered to send me recommendations for pediatricians etc). Delvon is also amazing and helped fix our fire alarm within 12 hours of us putting in the service request. Good decision to move all around!

My experience living at the Capstone has been mixed. The front desk staff are very nice and welcoming. However, the following issues have made me reconsider staying. Cons: 1. Heating and hot water can't run at the same time — hot water often shuts off mid-shower in winter and doesn't come back. After many reports and even a heater replacement, the issue still exists. 2. Windows don’t seal properly, letting in cold air during winter and heavy BBQ smoke from the yard all year round. Maintenance has tried to fix it several times, but there’s still a gap at the top of the window that can’t be fully sealed. 3. Walls are paper-thin, you can hear neighbors‘ alarm, meetings, and conversations. Bedrooms are positioned directly next to each other between units. And when neighbors play m

A beautiful, well-managed, environment-friendly residential building with fantastic amenities (swimming pool, gym, indoor and rooftop lounges, conference rooms,indoor kiddies playroom and a pet salon, among others). This waterside community,borders the Hudson, with great views of the Manhattan Skyline, and is a convenient 20 minute commute into Manhattan via transit bus or ferry. Security patrols enhance safety, and the on-site property managers and maintenance support allow quick response when needed. Paris Baguette is on the ground floor, Starbucks, Ben & Jerry’s and an 18-hour ACME Supermarket across the road, and nearest hospital is 5 minutes away…seeing is believing-You couldn’t ask for more.

We just moved into The Capstone from another Veris building in the area and we love it here already! We worked with Julian who was/is so helpful, kind, and efficient during our whole application and moving-in process. Julian was/is always quick to respond in assisting us with the many, many questions that we had/have and has made our whole experience a very pleasant and stress free one. Although we haven't lived in the building that long yet, everyone that we have met from the leasing specialists, maintenance staff, and front desk concierge have all been so friendly!
