The Brook on Janes Apartments

I’ve had a pretty good experience at Brook on Janes overall. Lori has been great to work with — responsive, friendly, and always willing to help. Terri and the maintenance team are also solid; they get things done quickly and professionally. My experience with Crystal hasn’t been as positive, but the rest of the team really makes up for it. Overall, a good place with a strong staff, especially Lori, the property manager and the maintenance crew.

We are living in our apartments at the brook on Jane’s for nearly a year now. It is such a great place to live, warm, welcoming and safe! The staff is great! Everything is well maintained. The apartments are spaciously designed and have a nice high ceiling. We love it here!

I've lived in this complex for the past 5 years and have loved every minute of it. The staff is amazing!! Lori and her team are always helpful and accommodating. I cannot say enough positives about this community and its staff!! If you are looking for a great community to have a one of kind experience this would be the community for you! Modern units, great common area, beautiful dog park, awesome pool and a gym with all the equipment you'll need!!

I trust management will not retaliate against residents for sharing honest feedback. The walls here are so thin that you can hear footsteps in the hallway as if they’re inside your unit. Our upstairs neighbors walk so heavily that doors literally shake, and it makes it uncomfortable to even sit on the couch. When I approached them about a loud party past 10:30 p.m. on a Thursday, I was shocked by the retaliation—intentional stomping above our bedroom and kitchen to intimidate us. Management, meanwhile, is quick to send out threatening notices—saying if you host more than 2 people in common areas your lease could be terminated or you’ll be charged. The clubhouse closes at 7 p.m., so forget about using it after work. The price here is simply not worth the noise and poor quality of living.

Lived here 3 years and was finally priced out by management. Pretty decent location with convenient amenities, but they will nickel and dime you to death after your initial lease term. My apartment was listed at a discounted rate $500 less/month than my renewal offer. You will split your water and other utilities amongst all your neighbors in the building, pay for parking and surely be hit with hundreds of dollars in cleaning fees upon moving out for things like hard water stains and rubber window molding that should have been replaced years ago. Dog park is lovely and spacious, however the maintenance staff don’t prioritize emptying waste bins or replacing waste bags.
