The Boulders at Deer Park

I have been a resident here for over a year, having moved in when I first arrived in Bloomington. The leasing process was remarkably smooth, which was particularly impressive given I managed the entire arrangement remotely from Brazil at the time. The apartment itself is in good condition, and whenever I have submitted a maintenance request, I have received prompt and effective service from both the office team via email and the on-site maintenance staff. Recently, I requested a partial carpet replacement, and the management team was very attentive, acknowledging that it was necessary and handling the process professionally. I have only had positive experiences here.

The Boulders at Deer Park has been a wonderful place to live in Bloomington! Fairly quiet neighborhood, close to the east side of town, and far enough away from the campus shenanigans, this location has been a major factor in me continuing my rental agreement. The cost has been favorable compared to most of the similarly sized options around town, so that’s a plus as well. The maintenance team has also been surprisingly responsive, and even during busier times I still only wait a day or two for non-emergency requests. All things considered, what this complex offers has met or exceeded my expectations for an apartment in a college town.

If you want a quiet, spacey, scenic home where you can have a lot of deer as your neighbors, this is the place you need. It is a 30-minute walk from the IUB campus, so the region is quite calm and never noisy. The rent is reasonable, considering the size of the apartment. I enjoyed living here. My personal favorite thing about the place is the large terras.

Favorite place i’ve ever lived.. If I didn’t take a job out of state, i’d probably be here forever. Excellent location, very calm and peaceful neighborhood with great walking trails and parks right in your backyard, well kept and the management team has been super helpful and responsive for the 8 months before we moved in and throughout our entire lease. Also, the apartment has a lot of space and charm especially for the price. The large windows, fireplace and cute little balcony’s are a plus especially for providing such a cute ambiance, during a winter snow storm or a rainy day.

I’ve lived at the boulders for two years, I’m very happy with my experience here. The neighborhood is quiet yet still close to downtown, and maintenance is always quick to respond to any issues. I would highly recommend renting with this property, it’s decently affordable and perfect for my current living situation.
