The Bleu Apartments

Glad to count myself as a FORMER resident of this disaster complex. DO NOT RENT APT A11! The place seemed great and at a good price at first, but there quickly became issues. Prepare for a sampling of headaches that have the added benefit of also hitting your wallet hard! Cliff notes version here if you don’t want to read the whole thing: maintenance requests will get ignored, they do not replace equipment that is their contractual obligation to replace or repair, they will enter your apartment with no warning when you are not home, sometimes they don’t bother calling for the dumpster to be emptied so the parking lot will be stacked with garbage, one set of doors to each building has no keypad on it so it has to stay unlocked and that means anyone can get into your building at any time, th

I have lived in A11 for the last year I had NO A/C for the entire time but are lease comes with A/C!!!!! The maintenance guy came and fixed it at least 7-8 times and each time of it being fixed it would stay on for a few days to a few hours depending each time!!! I ended up buying a portable A/C which cost me $300! And they came have $75 back even though I shouldn’t have even had to buy an A/C bc it’s supplied i my lease!!! They kept sayings it’s part that’s needs to fix and every time I asked when the part would come in they gave me a different day and week saying it’s on “delay and back up” all lies bc even another review from A10 said they said the same thing to them and I guess had the same issues for 2-3 years! And I have a water leak they fixed and broke again not surprised!!! My car

My stay at the Bleu has been pretty good so far. I moved into my apartment about 5 months ago with new flooring and a new refrigerator. There have been some random maintenance issues here and there but they were taken care of. The office staff is extremely nice and helpful when I've talked with them. If we can get more upkeep on the hallways and outside of the building that would be cool. No other complaints really.

Just got new management with Greyhill and it has been horrible. Management is nearly unreachable. Would call their office several times a day and no answer. Our central air hasn’t been working for MONTHS, which is practically the whole summer. They keep telling us they will have HVAC to fix it and keep lying to us saying they will come next week. Our unit has been hot everyday and only have a box fan. The only good thing is our maintenance guy who is always communicating with us whenever we have a leaking issue or any maintenance issues. Other than that though management has been unreachable and doesn’t communicate with us. Very unacceptable. Do not even bother trying to live here. I love living at The Bleu! It’s so close to all my classes at CCSU, I can walk to all of them without having to walk. The apartments are so nice and we have an in unit washer and dryer, and a dishwasher! Candyce is absolutely lovely, she’s the best landlord ever. I looked at all the apartments in the area and this was really the best one around
