The Adler Apartment Homes

I want to be very clear — the leasing team and property manager at The Adler were perfectly fine. They were professional, courteous, and did everything in their power to help. This review is directed squarely at Brookside Properties, the company that oversees them. Brookside Properties has been the absolute worst. My apartment constantly filled with secondhand smoke from a neighboring unit, making it completely unlivable. I am a non-smoker, have never smoked a day in my life, and yet I could not sit or stand anywhere in my own home without inhaling cigarette smoke. Despite repeated complaints and attempts to resolve the matter fairly, Brookside Properties refused to take meaningful action. The apartments are on the small side and you can definitely tell that whoever designed them did NOT do so with the tenant in mind. My bathroom door doesn’t open all the way because it hits the sink. The laundry closet is so small you have to find the smallest washer and dryer on the market and even then there’s not even enough space to run the hose to the dryer. We had to cut ours down to like 3 in and of course with a bad connection the dryer didn’t work well. The whole time we lived here we had to dry every load twice if not 3 times, increasing the electric bill. Building 384 has leaks everywhere. We had several leaks, at least 8 leaks in the 2 years we lived here, usually when it rained and once when maintenance in the other unit was flushing their pipes or something and it flooded my l

I tell you what. If you want to live in nice apartments and a nice apartment complex come and live at Adler apartments. All the staff is very nice. The maintenance team is really nice fast on fixing stuff when you need it fixed. The apartment manager is really nice. She will come and help you jumpstart a car when you need it. I wanna say thank you Megan for helping me out this morning. Excited about the pool coming in. Me and my wife love the workout center. We go every other day. Maybe they put in a diving board for us residence lol

I love the location of these apartments! Very close to the interstate and shopping centers. Love the giant style farm sink and the appliances. They did a nice job with picking out the colors for the inside of the apartment, the fire place is such a nice home touch. The neighborhood is very quiet and has a really neat duck pond! Office staff is amazing, especially Mccord who helped us with any questions! I’ve always had nice encounters with staff, highly recommended this place!

I've lived here for going on 2 months now and have had nothing but great experiences with the management team here everyone is so nice and they always help with anything I need and take care of any issues with my apartment with in the same day or next day! By far the best place I've lived and rented from! Would 100% recommend the alder apartments! My favorite part of it all is all the natural light my apartment gets can’t get enough of it. Plus they are building a club house. What better time to move into THE ALDER APARTMENTS 🎉🎉 what are you waiting for call or message them ASAP !!
