They DESERVE no stars!!!! This is the worst property management company I've ever had to deal with, esp. the property manager named Sandra Parker. In the past 5 yrs that we've been renters of Sandra Parker's , she had been through 4 companies, making Tatum the fifth. Her communication skills are a joke, because she thinks she know everything from taking care of the yard to fixing household appliances. In the two houses we rented from this woman, we had left our appliances (fridge, washer, dryer, range stove) behind when we left. Last year she informed us that Tatum Realty required their tenants to have renters insurance through the company, and that the cost of the policy will be added on to our monthly rent over the course of the year long lease. We NEVER received any policy for renters

Tatum has been reliable and quick to respond to any issues that arise. We're thankful for their work in finding quality tenants and keeping our home in good shape. They've managed our property over 10 years.

I have been renting for one year now. Thus far i have had a good positive experience. I contact the agent via website or text should there be an issue. They in turn contact the owner who is usually good about taking care of repairs. They are quick to get back with me. Many times i take care of the repairs myself because i do not want someone in my home when i am not available. As a former property/home investor and remodeling contractor i am very familiar with contracts and leases. Tatum property mgmt. seems fair. People can give good or bad reviews. In the rental market it can go either way. Tenants can be crooked, yet their can be bad mgmt also. In this case, it's neither. We talk and work together. That's just good business communication..

My family encouraged me to use Tatum's Realty when I decided to buy a house in NC . Joe worked very long and hard with my son Shane (Shane is picky) to find them a home. They love their place in White Oak . They trust the Tatum's and knew that they would be great for me to work with. Very honest, patient and understanding. They listened to my wants and needs. Like the energizer bunny, they just kept going until they found the right place. I can't thank them enough. More than realtor's they are friends!!

If you rent from them PLEASE make sure the property you are leasing isn't in foreclosure. I leased a house from them june 2019 that had been in foreclosure since early 2018. I started getting foreclosure letters in October from the courthouse saying the property was being foreclosed and was going to Auction early march. I questioned Joe Tatum several times about this and his response to me was "The owner says everything is fine." Unfortunately i believed him but everything was not fine. I finally sent pictures to Joe in early February of the fourth foreclosure letter after he told me for the third time everything was fine and the very next morning I received a text from him saying "We are no longer the property manager for this property. You will need to contact the owner from here on out
