Tarzana Springs

When i first moved there back in 2021 it was more peaceful. Quiet. Only incidents I had within the first year were people stealing your paid for parking spots, roaches throughout the apartment hallways and rooms, and there was a pipe burst which damaged my whole living room as water flooded through my roof. But I was proud to say that with monthly extermination, I had one of the only apartments there with no roaches. After about a year and a half the area became crime infested. EVERY COUPLE OF NIGHTS somebody's car alarm is going off. I have footage of gangs in all black pulling on people's car doors on several different dates. If you go out to eat/ food shopping at nights or on weekends when the manager is off duty your parking space will 9/10 times get stolen. Or sometimes the hom

I have been looking at various apartments in the valley recently...and for the amenities and the spaciousness of the one-bedroom apartments here... it's a great deal! I was given a tour by the really helpful, attentive staff and was able to check out the pool, gym, clubhouse and sauna. Overall, I was most impressed by the apt interior size and bedroom size. It looks like a great complex too! So far, I haven't found another location with the comparable amenities and apt size at the same cost.

These reviews are heartbreaking. My sister and I both had apartments in The Springs back in the 70s and it was a wonderful place to live. Beautiful, well maintained, and friendly. The rent was $245 and it was well worth it.

I enjoyed living at Tarzana Springs! I lived my best friend/roommate and we loved the assigned parking for two cars. I do miss the amenities, especially the sauna! Sadly I had to relocate for work but would return to Springs if I came back.

This place is a health hazard and has been neglected for years now. I’ve lived here for 4 years. These are unlivable conditions. You should not move here, but if you do make sure to test your apartment for RADON (radioactive gas that has no smell, color, or taste). More than one apartment has tested higher than a 4 including my own at a 6.6 out of 15. The building did testing in certain apartments only because they are trying to refinance the building. The building manager told us we were not supposed to know the results and they do “not intend” to release the results of second test that was taken. We are currently doing our own testing.
