Tallmadge Acres

Horrible place ever since the original management, maintenance, and cleaning staff left. What used to be a senior-only community has turned into general low-income housing, and the quality has gone downhill fast. The elevator is constantly broken, sometimes out for over a week, creating a completely unsafe situation for elderly or disabled residents who cannot use the stairs. They also eliminated Meals on Wheels for lower-income seniors, which is a lifeline for many people. Most of the parking spots have suddenly been reserved for select residents with no explanation, leaving almost no parking available for visitors. And beware when moving out: you must give a 30-day notice or they will charge you the next month’s rent, claiming they will “prorate it,” yet somehow their computer system

My parents live here, third floor. Dad unable to take stairs. At least one elevator is down most times. Both are down frequently leaving my parents and others stuck for days at a time. Kitchen cabinets are mismatched and waterlogged and need replaced. Always told there are no replacements and nothing can be done. Maintenance man is amazing and helpful!

I live here and I don't like it and I'm moving they have to many rules to follow like we are children you are not allowed to even put a rug on your balcony in the summer. I want to enjoy where I live and decorate my apartment and not be told I have enough furniture in my apartment.by management and I'm not not nowhere no how a hoarder. Management doesn't check anything out l was told that my doorbell was a doorbell camera and it's just a doorbell but they didn't check it out just took a resident word to try and get me in trouble. And I don't bother anyone in the building I'm a person who stays to herself and not looking for trouble.

I have been here at Tallmadge Acres for about 3.5 years now, and I’m very happy with my apartment! I really enjoy living out here as it’s on a beautiful setting with lots of birds and squirrels and my cat LOVES watching them out the window!! The management is always helpful to me if I have questions or concerns; and I also LOVE that there is always a SOCIAL WORKER here 5/days a week to help us with programs and signing up for stuff we might need, especially this day in age with inflation and needing to keep up with paperwork and faxing stuff; she’s always there to help, and not all places have that! So yeah; me and Milo (my cat) will be staying here for the long haul!! THANK YOU TALLMADGE ACRES!!!!!!

My wife and i have been here for a year. Your staff has been and are tenderly compassionate in the way have assisted us since we have been here. My wife cannot walk and has problems breathing at times but thie their tender words of concern have been so refreshing, especially Detra the office manager he kind words are from her heart, she is excellently kind in her dealings with us as a family.
