We lived in this apartment complex for a year in 2024 and overall were happy with everything! New apartments, new appliances, big territory, huge parking, close proximity to the mall and many grocery stores. Leasing office is very helpful and responsive. I contacted the leasing office a year after we moved out and they were able to help us with the reference very quickly!

I ABSOLUTELY love it here! I’ve been a resident for 2 1/2 years and there has been nothing but good and welcoming vibes from the leasing staff. Trust me when I say that the luxurious vibes on the outside are a perfect reflection of the inside of your homes!!

Beware: Costly Move-Out Charges, Steep Renewal Rent Hikes, Subpar pest control, Falsely advertised “gated community”. I moved out of Sycamore at Christenbury in July 2025 after living here for about 2 years. My pre–move-out inspection showed no issues, yet after my official move-out, I was billed $692.49 for “tub resurfacing” and “glass cooktop repair.” The photos they provided showed only cosmetic wear, no cracks, chips, or actual damage, but management insisted on full payment. The apartment was well maintained and left clean, but they refused to negotiate, calling the vendor’s “damage repair” wording a standard term. This experience has been deeply disappointing and feels unfair. Their practices seem focused on making units look brand new for the next resident at the tenant’s expense.

Where do I even begin with this? I moved in right at the start of February 2026. Leasing staff are helpful. Area is nice, the campus and building is access controlled. Apartments are comfortably sized, though have some interesting design choices (no light in the living area of my place specifically, just an inconvenience). Tour went well. Amenities are nice and fairly standard (pool, gym, common working areas, etc) This is about where the good ends. The walls are insanely thin. There are other reviews that corroborate that. There is no sound dampening of any kind. I can hear people next door in their own apartments talking/doing things, people above me talking/doing things, and people DOWN THE HALL talking/doing things WHILE IN MY OWN apartment. Even as I type this, I can hear my upstairs

I moved to NC for work and I have been living here for over a year and was surprised when I saw the low ratings here!!!!! I have had a GREAT experience while living here and plan to call this home until I purchase a house. The staff in the office have been AMAZING and helpful throughout my stay here. I've even been able to come in and have brief chats with them and they are ALL so nice. The maintenance staff has always come to take care of any issues within a timely manner and the guys are always so friendly when they come too. So many of the reviews seem to be related to kids not having an area to play or crazy fees that are added when they move out. Uhhhhhhhh no they don't have a playground, but they haven't had one since I've been here.... so why move here if that's your issue...lol I a
