Surfside

Management quality has declined significantly. Mail theft is common. Front door is sole exit for 2 entire buildings & when it is broken, no one can get out. Major fire code violation. Elevator frequently out of service. Single-pane windows let in dampness. Laundry room is consistently filthy. Palm trees, roses, planters of geraniums & camellias were removed, adding to a jail-like appearance. Gym was removed and for some reason we are no longer allowed to use the pool. Rent goes up the maximum amount yearly in spite of all this.

Car alarms go off daily, always at near 3am-8am and around the evening. And police are there at least once a week to settle a disturbance. At least once a week you can hear people yelling at each other aggressively in the parking lot or yelling from an apartment while the other tenants tell them to shut up.

It’s just a Jail Cops are here every single day. No manager on site. None of the machine working in the Laundry room. Swimming pool has been closed for 3 years Gym doesn’t have anything Just an empty room. do not move in to this building Neighbor are terrible noisy. No one is gonna answer your phone when you call management. Paying $2150 for 1 bd every month on time.

After living here for over a decade, from growing up as a kid to becoming an adult I can say that living here was a fairly bad experience. I’ll start off with the pros of living here. This place is great if you have kids going to school. You’re located near a elementary school, middle school and high school. All 3 schools are within a 15 minute walk or less. This apartment complex is located near a few running/biking paths if you’re into outdoor activities. Overall I think the location is a great spot. You also get a decent overlook of the water and have some nice amenities like a laundry room, a pool and a small fitness room. This place is old and outdated and the management is horrible..... If you thought summerhouse was bad this is even worse. Laundry facility always out of order. Black mold in apartments..... Everything is outdated and don't even get me started on there bug problem..... I was one and done with horrible place. If you like your mailboxes and vehicle broken into every other month and century old stoves and refrigerators that your mother's mother used to use this place is for you. Oh yeah if the power goes out good luck getting out that death trap.....
