Summit of Athens

Been living here for 2 years. I'm a little frustrated at our gate situation. What's the point of paying for permits and gate openers if the gates are always broken? I've seen people break the gates either to get in OR they don't know how to operate the gate ( pushing the button for a long time, assuming it's gonna make the gate open faster, not getting close enough to the gate for it to open or waiting for someone to leave and they go through the exit gate ). I have had to kick the homeless out of the dumpster, there's people sneaking in all the time and it makes me feel unsafe where I should feel safe. The homes are beautiful but this now concerns my safety and why we keep paying more when it's not safe? Anyone could get in. This is my home along with other residents. How are y'all no

Lived here for two years and absolutely loved it. Always felt super safe and the rent was cheap for what we got! Don’t rent through College Town if you’re looking at the Summit. A lot better options that won’t enter your home without warning

The maintenance does a decent job at responding to complaints/concerns. HOWEVER, if you sign here make sure to read the WHOLE contract! Upon moving out (as I was a resident last year) I was informed that all floor plans are subject to a $135 charge whether the unit is fully cleaned or not. There are lots of charges that inconveniently get snuck into your move out inspection, and the only way to dispute it is if your roommates own up for anything that happens wrong (which does not happen, since people do not want to lose more money). Long story short, while the apartments are nice and spacious, and the management is nice, they are definitely greedy when it comes to property upkeep/move outs and move ins. Don't expect a full deposit returned to you!

I lived here for two years (my junior and senior year of college) and absolutely LOVED it. The staff was always helpful and responded quickly whenever I had an issue in the unit. They were also quick to inform us of health and safety changes when COVID started to break out. The neighborhood is a nice gated area with lots of dogs walking around. The rent is fairly priced especially compared to other complexes in the area. I wish I was staying in Athens so I could stay in this complex another year!

My roommates and I moved into the Summit a few weeks ago, and we absolutely love everything about the community! Both Jessica's have been very helpful, and they were quick to respond to all of our questions/concerns. The neighborhood is very quiet, and has plenty of parking. 10/10 would recommend living here!
