Sugarbush Apartments

I have literally lived here for one year and was planning on living here another year even signed the lease again and was notified two weeks before my new lease begins they want a co-signer even though I paid on time every month. Not to mention I have an emotional service pet, they made me pay an extra pet deposit they did not give me that money back even though I provided a letter from my doctor. Legally I should not have to pay monthly for my dog yet I do. The management just wants to dismiss my complaint.

They decided to tow all of the vehicles in one lot claiming they sent out an email to the residents stating that they would be paving and cars had to be moved. They never sent out an email, they sent out a text at 9am with a list of vehicles that needed moved. My fiance works nights and was still asleep while this was sent out. They put a letter on the door last month stating that they would be paving and that the PAVING COMPANY would let us know when to move our cars. That never happened either. It’s insane to make people pay for towing when they had little to no warning about the paving. Poor management.

Maintenance is quick in response to requests from the app. Move-in was really great, apartment was clean in all areas. I love that residents have access to the main building after hours for the gym and the computer area. The dog park is nice for my dog to just run around. Haven't been to the pool since i moved in after summer, but it looks nice, small area but nice. You get a lot of amenities and the rent is fair priced

My husband and I lived here for 2 years and were completely taken advantage of by the management when we left. They made multiple petty charges which included charging us $10 for leaving a few strands of hair in a drawer, etc. They also charged us $100 for blinds that were broken prior to us moving in that they didn't account for on the initial inspection (we weren't allowed at the initial inspection because we moved in during covid). They charged us almost $300 for "staining the carpet" - granted the "stains" they were referring to were under the carpet, not even on the top of the carpet. They said that it was a urine stain from our dog and that they ripped up the carpet because the apartment "reeked of urine" which was not true because we had multiple people in our apartment while we we

I have lived at Sugarbush apartments for 5 years and don't plan on moving any time soon. The apartment itself is large and has amazing closets (including a huge walk in closet) and storage space. Yes my apartment could use some update, such as new kitchen cabinets, but it is an older community and I did see where they were updating apartments when they become vacant and the pictures were beautiful. As soon as I pull into the apartment complex I feel at home. It is so quiet and does not even feel like I am right in town like I am. Its grounds are kept nice and clean and its has plenty of space that is open for sunshine or shaded, which I enjoy having both depending upon what I am doing.
