Stonegate Apartments

I used to live here for over two and a half years, and I honestly wouldn’t recommend these apartments to anyone. The hygiene and maintenance are terrible. There was mold in some areas, the pool only opened for one week the entire summer, and the gym machines sounded like they were falling apart—none of them worked properly. The roads inside the complex were full of potholes, and the “security gate,” which was the main reason we chose this place, never worked the whole time we lived there. Only the exit gate worked. One summer, our air conditioning didn’t work for three months, and we received no compensation at all, even during the extreme heat. On top of that, the water was constantly being shut off—out of seven days a week, at least four days there was no water because they were “alway

DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!! One of my family members stayed here within the last two months and they have a HORRIBLE roach infestation and black mold that they refuse to take care of. Patty and Amy both have the worst attitudes and are completely MONEY HUNGRY!! Patty is the extremely rude lady with the sharpie eyebrows.They are charging $1300 for a 2 bedroom that isn’t even clean at move in. They both hate their jobs yet they refuse to quit! They will act kind at first but you will see soon after they get your money everything changes. Please RUN AWAY!

The maintence department is top notch. Handsome and professional they really care about their residents. All requests were met in a timely manner. When they left the area was clean and they turned the lights off. Im so thankful and grateful for these guys. I recommend Stonegate over any apartments in Amarillo

My fiancé and I didn’t even get a chance to move in. The ladies there are really nice don’t get me wrong, but they were not upfront about the building we were going to move in to had BLACK MOLD, and refused to give us our deposit back. Amy had told us if we wanted to back out we could and they would be more than willing to work with us to give us our deposit back. She was very rude to my fiancé she had told him that we would not be getting our deposit back and that this is the fourth one to change their mind about these apartments. I feel like we should get our deposit back since they failed to tell us that build one had black mold in the building. If you are even looking to live here let me just give you some info on it to help you decide… this place is HORRIBLE my boyfriend was living here only for a couple of months & he said they showed him a complete fake apartment that it was supposed to look like but NEVER showed him his real apartment that didn’t even look a little similar the real apartment had dirty carpet & AC didn’t work at all it was 91 degrees in the summer in his apartment and they failed to NEVER fix it and I have proof, they were “supposed” to be getting parts to fix it and they would go and put freon in the ac itself but wouldn’t help at all & just smelled like chemicals, other then that water would leak out the air conditioner.. .
