Stewart Title Company - Winnemucca

I recently had the pleasure of working with Erika and Kayla over at Stewart Title, and I must say they delivered phenomenal customer service and surpassed my needs. Their office was very inviting and decorated so beautifully for the holidays, and they listened to what I needed and delivered performance without any error. We purchased land last July and closed in September 2024. We are still waiting for the title. I called the county Assessor’s office because their records still show the previous owner’s name. I was told the documents filed were incorrect and had the incorrect Grantor’s name. I called the title company and it took them 3 days to check with the Assessor’s office- and that’s only because I called to follow up. You can’t tell me they weren’t notified the paperwork wasn’t right. I might change the rating once/if this is fixed and their attitude is better.

Google made me put a star... they should have zero or worse. This company is the slowest & seems have concerns for the customer. I paid for a property over 6 months ago & they still cannot get the title straight. They are a complete joke, if you respect your customer, use a different title company!

Had a simple closing. All cash, no inspections and no encumbrances with no problems. They did 2 timeline extensions. The preliminary title report was NOT done in a timely manner because they were "too busy". Took 7 weeks to close. Didn't return telephone calls. We were told late in the process they were running 3 to 4 weeks behind. Never bothered to tell us in the beginning! Final documents had several major errors that needed to be fixed prior to final closing. Also, told just prior to closing there was an additional expense for a Notary. I said "Hell NO"! We went to one of the Stewart Title Company offices in Reno where they fixed everything in a very professional manner without additional expenses. NEVER use the Winnemucca office! If there was a "0" rating I would give that

THIS IS THE WORSE title company I have EVER worked with and I have worked with a LOT. They messed up the docs 3 times and I had to ask for things to be corrected. They are NOT able to confirm their own work and make horrible assumptions about people. I sat here waiting and waiting for information and no one ever called. I called them multiple times asking for updates and 3 weeks into us being in escrow they had never even started work on my deal. They RUSHED it so fast everything was wrong. EVERYTHING! They finally sent me docs and after I returned them they called me and RUDELY said that I did not include a closing check...I would like it to be known that they NEVER TOLD ME WE WERE closing and I sat here waiting to be called and booked for a time to close escrow. That never happen....just
