Springwood Meadows

First, please be mindful of health hazards when renting here. We experienced a mold exposure and subsequent illness due to mold toxicity. Unfortunately, due to property manager (Nanci) refusal to utilize a New York State licensed mold inspector, and failure to remediate… we had to vacate and end our lease early so I could begin medical treatment. We took on extensive costs due to the mold exposure including but not limited to testing, inspection, replacing furniture, moving costs, break lease fee, and seeking medical treatment. Code enforcement can be a resource (as well as the NYS Department of Labor) if you are in a similar position and need assistance with addressing an issue, however, I advise against renting here due to the blatant disregard for tenant health and safety. Think twice before renting at Springwood Meadows Townhomes, the property manager is extremely unprofessional, the office is difficult to reach, and simple questions about leasing and viewing the apartment resulted in open hostility and the phone was slammed down on a professional and over-qualified prospective tenant. There are many available apartments in the Saratoga area currently where you will be treated respectfully and professionally, Springwood Meadows is not special, and the market is not as hot as they may think it is to be hanging up on prospective tenants.

We've lived here over three years and I've finally shaken off my laziness to put in a good word for these folks. We've been so comfortable here that my wife is reluctant to move even though it makes sense for us to do so now to a more convenient location closer to family in NYC. The pluses: The apartments were well built in 2012 (they're builders and constructed these themselves), and are clean and modern. Good sound insulation so you don't hear neighbors and vice versa.
