Splash Realty of High Springs

I was a tenant at a property managed by Mark Bertocci, doing business as Splash Realty, during 2021–2022. During my tenancy, the management company did not fulfill several contractual obligations, did not adequately address routine maintenance issues, and did not consistently provide requested documentation. At the time, Mr. Bertocci was also a licensed attorney in Florida. The matter ultimately resulted in a small claims court case in Alachua County (Case No. 01-2022-SC-000190), which was settled. Based on my experience, I would not recommend doing business of anything with Mark or with this company.

I have utilized Splash Realty for two house purchases here in High Springs and both times Mark Bertocci was very helpful. The first property I had my eye on for a while but felt the property was overpriced as listed. After contacting Mark, he researched the property and suggested I offer about 22% off of listing. Lo and behold the seller accepted an amount very close to my offer amount and we closed shortly thereafter (2023). The other property I purchased (2024) in High Springs with Mark, he also assisted in finding me a wonderful tenant prior to my closing and coordinated with the seller to allow her to move-in prior to closing. Mark rescued my High Springs house after 16-years of vacancy. I unsuccessfully tried renting on my own, which only led to more expense and damage to the house. Mark was absolutely amazing. The definition of customer service. He went above and beyond to help me sell my home. He even shipped me a box I forgot after I was in michigan. Open communication, honest, and available. So glad he was there for me.
