I rented from southside for two years and had a really positive experience. When I was looking for a new apartment I was in kind of a tough situation with a limited budget. Brooke had me send her my wish list and was able to show me 5 different apartments within my price range. I really liked the apartment I ended up renting and it had some nice amenities (dishwasher, garbage disposal, storage and coin washer/dryer in basement). As long as I communicated, they were quick to fix maintenance issues, I even had one emergency situation they were quick to attend to. You can set up your rent so it comes out ACH. And I got my security deposit back! Rental companies get a bad reputation in this town, but this is a good one. Check them out!

Responded well to extermination of mice concern and our heat went out twice that they got fixed as quickly as they could. Disappointed at lack of concern for Radon and mold exposure. I had a room in the basement and felt negative health effects. I would never live there again for that reason. Rent at your own risk.

Brooke showed us a couple of apartments in the Menomonie area. She was very respectful, charasmatic, and kind. She was able to answer our questions and concerns in a professional, positve, and helpful way. Brooke was kind to the tenants who's apartments she showed us and was overall super awesome!!! :D

Had litteral holes in the walls that was said to get fixed to never being done. Later in the year that wall crumbled due to a thunderstorm. Took plenty of pictures prior to moving in, I sent them pictures when it crumbled to get it fixed, was told it was on the list, and it never got done. Never got my security deposit back and did not have the means to take them to court otherwise I would have. Prey on college kids! Do not rent!

Rented from them recently. Fine in a pinch especially compared to American Edge but don't expect your security deposit back. New carpet in the bedroom, because we had a cat they charged us to clean the carpet. Only problem is that in 2 years the cat was never allowed in the bedroom on top of being a well trained animal - so we know for a fact they are making it up to charge us. I would not recommend on top of other communication issues.
