I’d rather live in a box than live in these apartments. If you want to deal with an unprofessional old man who doesn’t know how to run an apartment complex, this is the place for you. Say goodbye to the $800 deposit you paid when you initially moved in, probably won’t ever get that back. Some apartments have had black mold in the past, as well as other maintenance repairs that they refuse to fix. Good luck getting your electricity taken out of your name when you move out. They will call and tell them to keep it on and you’ll get a surprise bill in the mail. If this comment doesn’t absolutely turn you away, take a look at all the other 1 star reviews. One star is giving them too much credit.

The bad ! The landlord who is a male was nice , asked questions and communicated! He wanted to meet me needs which was great however his book keeper who he asked me to go through, was rude and basically refused to rent to me because I had a two year old son ! She told me that it wasn't ideal for a kid to live there because there wasn't a door in the loft ! Why does there need to be a door? I'm a responsible parent and i would child proof any home which i told her and she completely stopped responding to me. It's been days !

Made $600 deposit (receipt says deposit) 1 week before moving in with no lease. 1 month later a 12 year lease was drawn up with the print "non-refundable refurbishment fee." Gave 3 week notice of leaving and all of a sudden Larry Neil isn't my buddy and I'm a terrible tenant

My husband was working in JC -which required him to have a local stay in the area. His 18 months at Southern Hills Townhomes was a very good experience, Problems (maintenence) were dealt with as soon as possible.Reasonably priced he had a 1 bedroom loft apartment(too much room for him).this was a much better option than motels in the area for him. neighbors were very quiet and kept to themselves-but still watched over each other, he would recomend anyone renting from them. Deposits were returned within 1 week.

Got approved in the application process. Talked to the owner and made an agreement. When it came time to honor It he told me" I choose some one with a much better credit score" mine is 749.
