Southern Heritage Homes

We have had a TERRIBLE experience with Southern Heritage Homes. We purchased our home brand new in 2021 and have poured thousands of dollars into it for plumbing issues, poor paint job, shingles continuously coming off the roof and poor grading which has led to flooding in multiple yards around us. Houses throughout our neighborhood have experienced all the same issues and quality control during the building process was non existent. Beware of these builders!!

Recently purchased a home in the $400-500k range and have been very disappointed in the quality of the work. My goal in leaving this review is for buyers to go into the buying process informed. The tile work is some of the worst I've seen. Completely uneven and in areas of the shower, water is pooling and the slope of the drain is improperly installed. The quality of the finish work is sub par. There are drips, poor quality prepped walls and trim. The trim nails were not covered and seems like they just painted over dirt and debris as well as failing to caulk or fill nail holes on the trim work. The floor plans are also poorly designed and I take ownership of overlooking many of these flaws during the buying process. They have used the smallest clearances in hallways, stairwells and doo

I am so happy with my experience with Southern Heritage Homes. I purchased my home in March 2020 and the process was very smooth. In fact, we wanted to have window coverings on our windows before we closed so we asked for all the bedroom windows to be done. The builder did just as we asked and even gave us extra rooms with coverings. It was a nice surprise. We had one minor issue shortly after closing and Brit was quick to get it resolved for us (same day). I love our home and wouldn’t change a thing. I’m grateful for Mandi and Tatiana for always being there to answer my questions and guide me. We love our home!

Southern Heritage Homes build us a great home. My wife and I look for over a year until we found a quality built house for the money. I can say it the best built house for the money in a 15 mile radius of were we bought. They did a great job and followed up with anything we ask. The real estate agent John Limbaugh and the Construction supervisor Ryan Brown was outstanding. They took care us in every way. We are so happy we bought from a great company like Southern Heritage and we would buy from them again. We recommend Southern Heritage and consider them to be a excellent company.

Beware of Great looking homes but poor quality. We purchased our home in 2019 and within a year of owning the home we have dealt with issues with our “custom cabinets”. Paint began peeling off of the kitchen cabinets within the first year. We were able to have them repainted under the one year warranty however their warranty team is the worst. The warranty manager is very unprofessional and dismissive. It took way longer than necessary to finally have painting and other repairs completed due to miscommunications between the contractors and the company. Even with the repairs, our cabinets are still peeling and we are now needing to completely replace the cabinetry after less than 3 years of owning the home and only a year and a half after repairs.
