South Park Apartments

Do not rent here! They will increase your rent every year. This last time they raised it by $200. They got rid of our screen doors, speed bumps and such. If you need your carpet replaced? Good luck! I've been complaining about mine for at least 5 years because it is a trip hazard. Noisy neighbors? Don't bother complaining. Nothing will get done

At 1st, I really loved the staff and the fact that they took time to hear why I was wrongly evicted from my previous apartment. It was a HUD housing rental property. The director was awful. Crystal and Alisha were sympathetic and understanding and did their best to make rental South Park possible. However, as time went on, and I kept keeping Crystal aware of my domestic situation and what I was going through seemed as though she was empathetic to my situation, however since the previous eviction for reasons that were due to harassment and other unfair practices that no one was willing to stand up against but me, my boyfriend and I were dealing with a lot more stress and other health issues that caused me to file a PFA. I recently had to move from a 2 bedroom to a 1 bedroom and Crystal was amazing and made the move go as smooth as possible. I have lived at this complex for almost 4 yrs and just love it. They are VERY kids friendly as well as pet friendly. Both ladies in the office are wonderful and Thomas the maintenance guy goes above and beyond and shows he cares about everyone here. I could imagine living anywhere else.

Renter with pets beware!! DO NOT RENT HERE!!! I lived here for over 4 years, paid the extra $35 in pet fees and when I moved out they told me I owed 1,600 in damages to the carpet. When I reminded them I’ve paid over 1700 in pet fees and you took my deposit that amount would cover any damages (which was not damage really at all). They refused my argument and sent me to collections. If you are not eligible for any rental assistance, please rent elsewhere. They will come after you with a vengeance !!

Best apartments in town outside of renting a house. They have both regular and income based homes. Been here over ten years and have seen many in the management and maintenance team come and go. Most recent isn't doing bad. Lots of changes in the last year or so. Many updates to the property and inside the apartments, all good news there. Loosing the weather doors sucks. I hate the exterior lights, they are way too bright and attract hundred insects that get inside. Not bad in a nutshell.
