Solaire Reading

I work for PeakMade at Solaire Reading and this is one of the nicest communities and greatest values that I have worked at. The residents have all been really friendly and there’s a nice sense of community here. There are a lot of spaces that you can hang out at outside your apartment to soak in that California sunshine! There’s a deck on the roof, as well as one on the 2nd floor, and there is a community room that residents utilize for studying and hanging out. The best value however is that the units can come fully furnished if you prefer— which is perfect for college students, professionals that need to be near the airport for travel, or just families and individuals looking to move to the area. Where do I even begin. This building has many problems including but not limited to: cleanliness, noise, and management. When I first moved in, the building seemed nice and clean. As I continued living there, more and more trash would appear in between floors (when people would throw trash down the shoot) and randomly in the elevator. I have attached photos of how disgusting the elevator gets where one instance a literal PAD was wide open on the floor. I have felt awful for the cleaning lady that has to clean up after people that are so careless! On top of this, people will leave alcohol bottles, beer cans, and other trash everywhere and it makes the building look like a trap house. Next, noise. This is a beautiful, newly built community that offers a comfortable and welcoming living environment. My apartment was fully furnished which made my move in seamless. Michelle, the property manager is attentive, kind, and supportive, and all the staff consistently demonstrates professionalism. The neighbors are pleasant, and the community is peaceful. The rooftop and community room are well-maintained and inviting.

New management company Adaptive Reality is the absolute worst. They haven’t introduced themselves to anyone and placed 24hour notice notes on everyone’s door stating that they’re coming into our units. I don’t know how anyone else would feel, but I’m extremely uncomfortable with someone I’ve never met walking through my unit. Parking is a mess the spaces are extremely tight and the rude tenants have no respect and park extra close to your car making it difficult to get in and out. We pay $150 extra a month for parking for the parking garage to get flooded every time it rains. There is a tenant here with a very aggressive dog and anytime someone walks past he barks and growls at them in an aggressive manner. It can be a nice place to live if they enforce cleanliness and the importance of
