High Ridge Apartments this is how the apartment was given to me. I traveled here from North Carolina. My daughter had to sign the lease with the power of attorney before I got here, but upon moving in, it was not clean very properly. I did talk the leasing agent Debbie at the time who gave me $20 out of her personal money to buy to buy cleaning supplies. So that I can at least clean properly as you can tell the walls were dirty the top of the stove and the inside of the stove weren’t clean. The refrigerator wasn’t in good shape. Let’s not talk about these disgusting toilet tanks the duct tape underneath the master bathroom sink. Both plugs in both bathroom sinks were not in plus breast is on them. I'm still waiting for a refund of my security deposit and my prorated rent to be refunded for February 2023. It is now April 25. I went in-person to the office and was told the staff member in charge was in a meeting. According to NC Article 6 Chapter 42 the security deposit is due within 30 days. I should not have to keep following up with my former property managers and the main office for this simple task to be accomplished. I have confirmation I am due the entire amount. Other than this my experience living at a property was fine, but this is not acceptable.

Once you’ve moved in to your apartment you will be neglected by maintenance, office-staff and Simpson & Simpon as a whole. My apartment has been put last on their list while they update the vacant apartments. They offer no upgrades for the current tenants, but continue to raise the rent. There will be every excuse in the world as to why they can’t do the bare minimum. They have cats running all over neighborhood. There is no reason I should be paying the same amount of rent as someone with an up to date apartment while my apartment is falling about. They do not care once you’re moved in.

I have been a renter for 4 years at a Simpson Property. I have not had any problems with this Company. The Office Staff are polite and the people who repair problems are quick and very nice. Five Star Service.

Will raise rent consistently every year if not more frequently. Will tow your car if tags are out of date. Waste money on amenities nobody asked for. Does nothing but send a text when cars are broken into on their parking lot. This is falls creek specifically can't speak for other properties.
