Silver Hammer Property Management

I rented from this property management company for 2 years at one of their properties in Valparaiso, IN. They were professional but also down to earth, kind, helpful, honest, kept up the unit, caring, understanding, communicative, knowledgeable, and it was an all around great experience. Granted, there were repairs my unit needed and I had a request to implement a retractable privacy screen (at my expense) which weren't addressed or approved but bear in mind that they're just the property management company and the actual owner was unwilling to move forward with these needs. Overall, I recommend this company. I had a great experience and would definitely rent from them again in the future. Thank you Meagan, Dean, and Ryan for making my time in your unit a very positive and memorable one.

Silver hammer tenents ruined our quiet neighborhood. They rented out a single family home in Griffith, and their tenents leave their pitbull out barking all night long. 1,2,and even 3 am that dog is waking up the neighborhood. I've reached out to Silver Hammer and even called the police and code enforcement on the residents to try and resolve the situation. Leaving us no choice to write this review. Silver Hammer rents to irresponsible dog owners who have no stake in the neighborhood they reside. For them charging a couple extra $$ for a pet gives the tenents the right to ruin a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Don't hire Silver Hammer property management if you value your homes worth.

Wonderful people to deal with. Straight foreward, honest, and they always respond quickly if you have any issues at all. Renting these days can be stressfull. They make it easy and comfortable!
