Absolutely horrific company. You are never able to get in touch with the representative for your property and the staff that answers the phone is extremely rude. I called asking for clarification on something and the staff member on the phone rudely said “Why are you so angry and using such a tone?” I was simply asking for clarification. When he was not able to answer my first question I followed up with another. Needless to say, they have no interest or patience to answer your questions or provide you with clarification. I really hope my property will terminate this company.

If I could give Silva Associates negative stars, I would. I wouldn’t live on one of his properties ever again, even free of charge. Joe Silva is simply not a good person. He frequently dismisses any questions or concerns you may have. His properties are bordering on a dictatorship to be honest, and would advise anyone who lives on his property to get familiar with the members of the board. Joe will often use them to get information about said property, regardless if the information is factual, and is completely biased towards his board members. Don’t have a single good thing to say about Joe Silva or his properties, and would STRONGLY advise anyone to avoid living on one of them at all costs.

Staff when calling the office are extremely unprofessional, even about a mistake (several) on their part and will never work with customers to make it right. Example, They provided a fee document of a specified amount, I paid it, then when told it was a mistake-proceeds to give attitude when I'm clearly not responsible for that. Also doesn't respond to emails, and not transparent about their business. Willing to edit this if things get worked out...

Horrible service with rude property managers. The owner Joe is rude who’s hands-on in enabling rude property managers. No accountability and randomly increased rates 200 dollars the moment they came in with no additional benefits added. They’re constantly putting it on previous property management. If you have any other options in this space, I highly recommend looking elsewhere. Update: they accused us of having leaking pipes. After rude and accusatory emails, we came to the realization the unit that was leaking was in a DIFFERENT BUILDING! These property managers are clowns. Please don’t waste your time like we did ours.

Extremely unprofessional accounting practices. If they fail to receive a check, oh well. they recommend leaving the check unaccounted for just in case the payment eventually arrives. Who can afford to wait just in case a check should eventually arrive? Sloppy accounting practices get passed onto the consumer because the association gets a bank charge. Owners have no recourse or guarantees that the management company has received payments promptly until a paper bill arrives for a late fee! Very sloppy and archaic business practices given today’s technology. Do better and invest in your business JOE. INVEST IN YOUR PEOPLE AND TEACH THEM TO BE PROFESSIONAL.
