Severino Real Estate

As a 6 year tenant at one of their properties I can honestly say I have nothing but positive things to say. Easily without question a 5 star rating. First of all wouldn't let me move in without completely remodeling my apt. Which I thought would severely increase the rent I was told. Didn't happen. My brand new stainless steel refrigerator stopped working after a few years & thought it would be replaced with something cheaper. Nope. Actually same size & make, but newer version. My yearly rent is raised at the minimum. Always very warm reception whenever I call the office & have always been able to speak to either the father or son owners. Always get back to me either by phone or email. As I said, 6 years, very content & have no complaints.

Have lived in their property for two years and I have nothing but good things to say. Super nice and friendly, easy to work with, will stay late at the office to do paperwork/resign leases, etc. If I have any maintenance issues, I can send an email and someone fixes it within a day with no hassle at all. Very well maintained building (they let us start a lease 15 days after they had advertised for so they could put in new fixtures, redo the floors, fix cabinets, etc before we moved in) Extremely reasonable rent, and roommates can pay in separate checks. Overall 100x better than my previous Hoboken landlord.

Pat Severino is incredibly unprofessional. I saw one of his Hoboken units in late July. I was interested and let his agent know. I was asked to call Pat in the office to go sign a lease and make a deposit. I called on a Friday morning and arranged to come in about an hour later. Upon walking into Severino Real Estate, I met Pat. He had a bit of food stuck to his lip. He initially asked if we wanted to get started with the deposit, but I asked him to see the lease first. I sat down with my partner to read through the lease to make sure everything was correct. I noticed a handful of issues: the lease was missing an apartment number, it said no pets were allowed (despite his agent & his super telling me my pet would be allowed), and it asked me to agree that the unit was in good condition (b

They absolutely do not respect their tenant's rights or even dignity. Guy running this trash company doesn't have a decent bone in his body

The property manager at my location very unprofessionally demanded money from me and then continuously called me fat. Please don’t give this man your money
