Sentral Michigan Avenue | Chicago Apartments

This is a great alternative to a traditional hotel. If you don't care to have turn down service, or maid service every single day, this is better than a standard hotel. All units I've stayed in have kitchenettes, the lobby staff is really helpful, you have a nice set of amenities, and each room has a view of the Lake. Highly recommended and I'll stay at a Sentral in another city for sure.

Perfect location and very spacious apartments. The outdoor jacuzzi is amazing, and the indoor pool is just as great. The hotel is not crowded thanks to the limited number of rooms, which makes the stay especially pleasant and relaxing. Special thanks to Mr. Degertekin for his excellent communication and care. I also truly appreciated the kindness and warm welcome from Akoete. Highly recommended!

The first night we checked in there was a seafood odor in our room and we found a closet door broken. Day 2 maintenance fixed the closet door but the seafood odor was still there. We were moved to another room which had no odor. However, there were 2 dogs on the floor barking back and fourth for hours. We were evacuated off the 20th floor because the floor smelt of smoke, we had to walk down 20 flights of stairs which I understand isn’t the hotels fault but still sucked. The next day we went to get into the hot tub/spa and it was green. I have photo proof if needed. Part of the reason we stayed at this hotel was for the spa and we didn’t even use it due to the color. On the last night of our stay we were awoken to people yelling and arguing outside our room in the hallway. I looked through

While the rooms are lovely in the photos, they are very unclean. Every where I looked there were chunks of dirt on the floor, hair in the shower, and even a brownish residue was on the floor of the shower. I actually had to try and clean it myself before I felt comfortable showering. The windows and walls were covered in hand prints and grease marks. I very much enjoyed the location as it is within close range of many shopping areas, food locations, and the Salt Shed was only 12 minutes away. With this being said, the closest parking is around the block and you are not informed of this, at least Vrbo didn't disclose this. And the next options are pay to park in the parking garage and get your car every time you want it or pay another $80 for valet parking. Also, there are no indications th
