Customer Reviews
Leaving Santa Fe Lofts truly comes with pain in my heart. :( I had a great experience living here for about 1.5 years, and it will always hold special memories for me. One of the biggest highlights was management — on-site office staff was always approachable (walk-in anytime you need anything) and genuinely helpful. Maintenance requests were handled quickly and efficiently (thank you Guillermo!!). Management is proactive in sending out detailed emails about anything concerning the property and is determined to get stuff fixed. I want to note that the move-out process was smooth, and the deposit was returned on time, which is really appreciated. The building offers 24/7 security that takes their job seriously, and despite the property being located in the heart of DTLA, I always felt safe
I’ve had a great experience living at Santa Fe Lofts, and a lot of that comes down to both the building itself and the people who manage it. The management team is thoughtful, knowledgeable, and consistently communicative. Their emails are detailed and actually helpful, so you always know what is going on in the building. Whenever I see them around the property, they are friendly and easy to talk to. They are new to this location, and it is clear they care about improving the building and creating a place residents are proud to call home. Any questions or concerns I have had have been handled quickly and honestly. The apartments are one of the biggest selling points. The windows are huge and bring in so much natural light that the space feels open and inviting all day long. The flooring a
Good management staff. Downtown building has its' ups and down. 24- hour security monitors the building. Elevators keep breaking. Fops temperamental. Issues with maintenance, in particular, lack of skillset and timeliness. Lastly, sometimes, some of the residents push back with passive aggressive acts. Overall, they are trying... and it is worth a second look.
We’ve dealt with multiple management issues and management avoids communication like it’s policy. (The biggest problem with this proporty) Most recently, we were denied the opportunity to transfer units, despite completing every requirement across three applications. (2 paid in full) We were ignored, insulted, and blocked from access to a unit we qualified for, then watched it get leased to someone else while our application was still open. The biggest issue? Cushman & Wakefield, not just the staff. Every “new” manager has carried on the same careless, dismissive practices. If you’re considering renting here—please know that affordability comes at the cost of your time and potential your basic tenant rights. However, I understand how expensive it is to live, these lofts are good value (
I moved in a year ago after touring several other Lofts in the DTLA area, this building had the best floorplan and views that I wanted, but the management was terrible and there was plenty turnover in my first year here because of it. Now we have a completely new property management group, and I am so thankful for them in the short time they’ve been here, a lot of things have changed and improved. They got us 24 hour armed security, we have a better packaging system, quicker maintenance response, they fixed the broken door for the entrance of one of the buildings, and so much more that they have planned. I think it makes a difference that the property manager Delisse and the assistant property manager Michael both take pride in their work as it’s something they are also invested in. I thi
