They enter your apartment without giving any notice. There was an incident where the maintenance guy kept putting in fake maintenance tickets under my name and entering my apartment with the key, claiming he was responding to maintenance tickets that I never submitted. He would not knock or announce himself when entering, he would just silently put the key in the door and let himself into my apartment, and he would look extremely guilty when I was standing in the living room waiting for him. I was at home three different times when it happened, who knows how many times he entered when I wasn't home.
