I bought a home about 3 years ago and I have thoroughly enjoyed it. There have only been a handful of minor issues since moving in, all of which were typical home owner fixes. There have been no issue with any of the tile or wood flooring. Which is nice considering most of new construction projects don’t tend to stand up to wear and tear over time. I recommend that you take full advantage of builder walk through so that if you do find issues they can be corrected before your move in date. The community itself has nice amenities including the pool and pickle ball courts. I highly recommend rocklyn for first time home buyers, especially those who are transitioning from rental properties.

Stopped by Emerald Fields while in the area and was honestly impressed. The homes feel solid and well built, not rushed like a lot of new construction. The layout of the community makes sense, the streets look clean, and it’s in a convenient spot without feeling busy. Amber, the sales manager, was great to work with she was knowledgeable, easygoing, and seems to genuinely want to help. Definitely worth checking out if you’re comparing builders nearby.
