Rockledge Pointe Apartments

My husband and I have lived here for many years. We moved here before Berger bought it. It is getting slightly run down. Paint is peeling off the trim outside. The gutters are clogged with debris and over run. Overall maintenance is responsive to calls. The leasing office however is lax in returning calls.

Originally these apartments were a 55+ community. The two bed room apartments are more spacious than the norm. Since Berger Company (out of Philadelphia) has purchased the property, they appear to be only concerned about filling the place with minimal concern for whom the renter is. The Berger Company only has a desire to invest the bare minimum into upgrades and beautification. The property is 20+ years old and needed maintenance and upgrades are becoming more evident. The maintenance staff is very good and responsive if/when problems arise.

I have only been living here for the past 4 years. Maintenance, is quick to respond if needed. I agree that the rental people do not put a lot of stock in the property and rather continue raising rent with little to show. Also, there are tenants who have multiple vehicles and those who need spots are forced to find other parking. There just isn't enough parking for everyone and those taking spots from the elderly and handicap just isn't fair.

Residents are very nice and friendly. We do social activities together and watch out for one another. We are treated very well by the Berger employees and the building has been updated recently. I can't imagine living in any other apartment building.

Nice apartments but they are afraid to increase your rent by a lot every single year.
