Riverton of the High Desert Apartments

I am a current resident there and my car go broken into two days ago someone broke my car window. They were closed on Sunday and Monday they turned off the option to contact them after hours which is ridiculous because of situations like this. We have “security” but obviously they don’t know how to their job all they do is drive around every so often. I gave them a call about 5 hours ago and I was notified that the manager would get back to me which she never did. DONT MOVE HERE THEY CHARGE usually around $70 for a trash fee when they said we weren’t going to get charged for that and we still haven’t gotten a call back for that either. These are definitely not “luxury” apartments, homeless people be walking around from time to time.

I dont recommend renting here if you are looking for a transparent apartment complex or if you plan to go on your own grid for the electricity. I was awaken to a unconsented change to my electricity provider and now being ordered to pay two electricity bills because the new managers decided to change the electricity provider without let us know which illegal under California law.

Terrible management company. Beyond unorganized. No where NEAR worth the amount you pay to live there… dirty pool that people break into and bathe in. Low security. Not luxury quality. Selfish company. Over charges, under communicates. Especially if you have a family.. don’t live there.

I’d stay away if I were you. I’m getting out asap! Over $1600 in fees the past 3 months. A total of $8600 charged the past 3 months… I feel stupid for airing out my business but this company is predatory and I feel I have to warn others. There’s a reason 7 of the last 10 reviews are 2 or less stars. Stay away!

We've been living here for a couple of years now and we've come to appreciate the maintenance crew. Particularly Joshua. He is koo and respectful, and helpful. Anita, in the office has also been very helpful and kind. Whenever we have an issue, it gets solved in a timely manner.
